After a lingering illness Miss Virginia A. Hodges, a well known resident of this city, passed away yesterday afternoon at two o'clock at the residence of E. K. Brooks Sr., 317 Middle Street.
Miss Hodges was a long and consistent member of Monumental M. E. Church in this city, and had a large circle of friends, who will regret to learn of her death.
Arrangements for the funeral had not been completed last night, but will be announced later.

The funeral of Mrs. Virginia Adelaide Hodges, who died last Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock in the residence of E. K. Brooks, 217 Middle street, will take place at four o'clock this afternoon in the residence.
Later in the day the body will be conveyed to Oak Grove cemetery, where interment will take place.
