In the name of God Amen I Andrew Barclay of the Parish of Portsmouth County of Norfolk and State of Virginia being weak of body but of sound and disposing mind do make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following viz: It is my wish that immediately after my decease, all property which I may be entitled to receive whether under the will of my late Uncle Andrew Barclay dec'd or otherwise or what I may be possessed of at my decease (save such as shall hereunafter be specified) be converted into ready money by my executors & executive herein after named, and after depaying all my just debts, funeral & other expenses, I desire the balance may be disposed of in the following way: Imprimis: I will and bequeath to my father & mother Robert & Catharine Barclay of the Parish, County & State above written one seventh each of whatever neat balance may arise from the sale, to them, their heirs & assigns forever to be paid over to them as soon as collected. To my father, I give my books of all and every description as will as my surgical instruments.
Item To my sister Eliza Ann Barclay I will and bequeath one seventh of the neat balance of my estate, to her, her heirs and assigns forever; and to be paid to her on the day of her marriage until them to be retained and applied to interest by executors & executive to be named herein; and the interest paid to her annually.
Item, To my brother Robert Charles Barclay I will and bequeath one seventh of the neat balance arising from my estate to him, his heirs & assigns forever, to be paid to him at the age of twenty one in the mean time to be applied as that of my sister Eliza Ann. To my brother, Robert Charles, I give also my gold watch.
Item, To my sister Sarah Jane Barclay her heris & assigns forever I will and bequeath one seventh of the neat balance arising to be paid to her at marriage day; & until then to be dispose of my my sister, Eliza's portion as directed to be: To my sister Sarah Jane, I give also the gold chain attached to my watch.
Item, To my sister Susan Ballard Barclay her heirs & assigns forever I will and bequeath one seventh of the neat balance of my estate; to be paid & disposed of in the meantime, as directed of my two other sisters.
Item, To my brother Solomon Tatem Barclay his heirs & assigns, I will and bequeath one seventh of the neat balance of my estate to be paid to him at the age of twenty one years; untill then to be retained and applied to interest by my executors & exector and the interest to his benefit also.
Lastly, I wish my house sold and the proceeds divided as follows: to Nancy my father's cook and Sarah her daughter each each one ? and the other half divided equally between Jim, Job, John, & ?. I revoke all other wills by me made and declare this to be my last will & testament and appoint my dear father and brother Robert Charles executors and my dear mother executrix.

Tabb two of the subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded, and on the motion of Robert Barclay one of the executors therein named who made oath thereto and with Jno Day and Arthur Emmerson his security entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of eightenn thousand dollars with condition according to law. Certificate is granted the said Robert Barclay for obtaining a probat at the said will in due form
