Mrs. Mary Adelia Brooks, 90 years old, widow of Eugene Kincaid Brooks, died at 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon in the residence, 317 Middle street, after a short illness.3. Funeral 2104, at Oak Grove Cemetery, 4 Jun 1932 in Portsmouth, Portsmouth (city), Virginia, USA
She is survived by two sons, James K. Brooks, and Eugene K. Brooks Jr. of this city; four daughters, Mrs. C. G. Krieger, of Portsmouth; Mrs. Mary D. Hardin, of Wilmington, N.C.; Mrs. A. B. Johnson, of this city; 10 grand-children, one great-grandchild and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services will be held in the residence at 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be private in Oak Grove Cemetery. It is the request of the family that flowers be omitted.
Mrs. Mary Adelia Hodges Brooks, widow of Eugene Kincaid Brooks, who died Thursday afternoon in her residence, 317 Middle street, will be buried privately this afternoon in Oak Grove Cemetery. Funeral service will be conducted in the residence at 4 o'clock.
