Mrs. West was born in Norfolk County, Va. She was the widow of John H. West and was the oldest member of Great Bridge Congregational Christian Church. She was predeceased by a son, D. Sanford West.
Survivors include a daughter, Margaret W. Davis of Chesapeake, two granddaughters, Deborah D. Perkins of Richmond and Lorie Kay Davi of Chesapeake; and a great-granddaughter, Kayley S. Perkins of Richmond.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Bill Simmons. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, today from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
