This is a photographic album of my Portsmouth, Virginia family: Harry Lynn Hopewell, his wife Charlotte Ross Mathews Hopewell and their children and kin. It has been prepared for the Portsmouth Hopewell and Mathews family members.

  The organization is straight forward. As best as can be determined, photographs have been grouped by year. This album is organized as a book--the years are the chapters. You can merrily click your way through the album. See the index on the left of this page. Most of the pictures were taken in the 1940s.

  I decided that it was time to get them out of the photo album. Hope you enjoy these good old days.
