In the name of God, amen, the 28th day of September one thousand eight hundred and thirteen, I John Cherry being sick in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be to almighty God do make and ordain this my last will & testament in manner and form following, first I give unto my beloved wife Sarah Cherry all my household furniture & twenty five dollars cash to her and her ares, then my mare & cart & cattle to be sold to the best advantage and the money arising from their sale and the money that is due to me by notes of hand to be collected when due by my executor and all my just debts paid with my funeral charges & doctors bills, then my will is that the money which is left to be equally divided between my daughter Margaret Manning and grandson John Cherry and daughter Sarah Cherry and granddaughter Margaret Manning and grandson Willis Cherry each to reveive their part of money at the years of twenty one or marriage from my executor who I do appoint to this my last will and testament my friend Mathew Manning, as witness my hand & seal this day and date as above written.
