Funeral services will be held at the Court Street Baptist Church this (Sunday) afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.
Mrs. Bettie F. West, widow of William A. West, died at 3:45 o'clock yesterday morning, in her home at 203 Court Street, at the age of 67 years. The funeral service will take place at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon in the Court Street Baptist Church, and later in the day interment will take place in Cedar Grove Cemetery.5. Mrs. West was a native of Culpeper county, Va., and was the daughter of the late Peter C. Smith. One son, J. W. C. West, of this city, and three sister and four brothers, all of Culpeper, survive her.
She was a lady of many endearing traits of character and was a consistent member of the Court Street Baptist church.
Mrs. Bettie F. West--The funeral service of Mrs. Bettie F. West, whose death occurred last Saturday morning in her home at 203 Court Street, took place at 3:30 o'clock on Sunday afternoon in the Court Street Baptist church, and was largely attended.
Rev. R. B. Garrett, pastor of the church, conducted the service, at the conclusion of which the body was conveyed to Cedar Grove cemetery, where interment took place. In the service Rev. George H. Spooner, pastor of Monumental Methodist Episcopal church, assisted.
The pall-bearers were: Messrs. A. A. Wilson, E. H. West, W. P. Jordan, J. W. West, H. W. West Jr., T. L. West, C. A. Ernest and Dr. Frank S. Hope.
There were many floral tokens of respect and esteem.
