1. Obituary 3088, death of little Jean Nash, 24 Jul 1894 in Portsmouth, Portsmouth (city), Virginia, USA
25 July 1894---Death of Little Jean Nash
Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Nash had the misfortune to lose by death on yesterday at 8 o'clock p.m. their young child, Jean, aged 15 months. Jean was a beautiful child, with a sweet and lovable disposition, and her death has left her parents almost heartbroken. Her patience and submissiveness in suffering was truly astonishing and touching in one so young. Everything was done for the little one that human skill and love could suggest, but to no avail; her gentle spirit took its flight to join the angels in Heaven, for God has said, "Of such as these is the Kingdom of Heaven." Let this be a comfort to the parents in the hour of their distress.
