Another Fire---This morning about 2 o'clock the alarm of fire was again heard in Portsmouth, which proved to be an unfinished frame tenement, situated over Swimming Point bridge near the Hospital lane, which was burned to the ground in a few minutes. The firemen were promptly on the spot, and used every exertion to save the building, but on account of the scarcity of water, they could do but little good. The property belonged to Mr. J. G. Hatton (cost $2000) and was insured in the Lynchburg Company for $1000. This fire, like the other, is supposed to be an incendiary act.
