We all went to Churchland Elementary School through the 5th grade. [Actually, Martha Janet and I, (along with Bonnie Coleman and Barbara Edwards) being so precocious, went to Virginia Weedon's private school for the 1st grade, because our birthdays were too late for the public school.]

Here is a photo of the high school from the 1948 Trucker, our 5th grade year. The elementary school wing was just behind the high school.
